API: Creating BCBS of Alabama Payer Portal Credentials

Zuub streamlines access to BCBS of Alabama patient benefit breakdowns by securely navigating BCBS of Alabama's two-factor authentication (2FA). Follow this step-by-step guide to create Zuub specific BCBS of Alabama payer credentials.

Set up BCBS of Alabama 2FA: Step-by-Step

  1. Navigate to the BCBS of Alabama portal and sign in using the offices credentials.
  2. Click the 'Users' link in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.


  3. Click on 'Create User.'

  4. Follow prompts to enter information:
    1. Username: 
    2. Password: 
    3. First Name: Insurance
    4. Last Name: Admin
    5. Email Address: Zuub generated email address
    6. Phone Number/Cell Phone: Zuub generated phone number
    7. User Roles: Practice/Business Administrator
  5. Hit 'Next' at the bottom of the screen once all the above information is filled out.
  6. Business Tab: Select the office and then select 'Next.'
  7. Providers Tab: Choose all the providers in office.
  8. Permissions - Patient - eligibility and benefits
  9. Click 'Create User.'
  10. Sign in using the credentials just created.
  11. Select ‘Send Code.’

  12. Retrieve the 2FA email code, enter it, and select ‘Verify Code.’

  13. Scroll through and accept the terms and conditions.
  14. Select ‘Update my Profile.’
