Set up Horizon BCBS of NJ Using an Existing Account: Step-by-Step

  1. Navigate to the Horizon BCBS of NJ portal. 
  2. Sign in using the office's existing login credentials. Click 'Continue.'

  3. Navigate to the ‘Practice Management’ tab at the top, then ‘Create Users’Horizon2
    1. User Type: Office Manager
    2. First Name: Insurance
    3. Last Name: Admin
    4. Date of Birth: 01/01/1980
    5. Email Address: Zuub generated email address
    6. Click ‘Continue’
  4.  A new user ID will be created and provided. **Make note of  this new user ID that is populated, as it will be required on subsequent screens. Click 'Continue'

  5. Navigate to the forwarding email address to retrieve the temporary password emailed.
  6. Input the following: 
    1. Current Password: Temporary password that was emailed in step 5
    2. New Password: 
    3. Confirm Password: 
    4. Password Challenge Prompt: 
    5. Password Challenge Response: 
    6. Click 'Continue'

    Account creation is now complete!
