How-To: Set up Denti-cal Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Zuub streamlines access to Denti-cal patient benefit breakdowns by securely navigating Unum's two-factor authentication (2FA). Follow this step-by-step guide to learn more.

Set up Denti-cal 2FA: Step-by-Step

  1. Inform Zuub you’d like to set up the Denti-cal 2FA solution by reaching out to your designated Customer Success Manager. You can also email Zuub Support at support@zuub.com, or chat with us via the bottom right hand corner of your Zuub portal.
  2. Zuub will assign you a phone number and email address that you will use to register a new user.
  3. Login to the Denti-cal portal.
  4. Click on the hamburger menu in the top right-hand corner.

  5. Under 'Maintenance' select 'Manage Delegates'.

  6. Under Delegate Information, select 'Add Unregistered Delegate'.

  7. Fill out the required fields using the below information:
    1. Last Name: Admin
    2. First Name: Insurance
    3. Email: Zuub-provided email address
    4. Birth Date: 01/01/1980
    5. Last 4 of SSN: 2732
    6. Phone Number: Zuub-provided phone number
    7. Primary Language: English
    8. Under 'Add Options', select 'Assign All Available Service Locations / Security Functions' and check 'Delegate Administrator'

  8. Click 'Submit'.
  9. Once the Zuub team receives confirmation the account has been created and the details listed above, our team will finish configuring your account and ensure Denti-cal verifications are going through correctly. We will follow up once QA is completed.
