Navigation Sidebar Redesign
We've modernized our navigation sidebar with updated icon designs and improved link placement for a more intuitive experience. The "Insurance Verification" tab is now prominently placed at the top of the navigation menu for quicker access to this frequently used feature. The "Help Center" can be accessed from within Zuub, and "Admin" is more easily clickable.
Enhanced Manual Insurance Verification Breakdown
We've improved the user experience for manual insurance verification. When you select this option, you'll now see a detailed, code-centric breakdown that matches the information available in the Schedule view. When a patient is selected from "Recent Verifications," the breakdown loads for that patient. Clicking "Clear Form" clears the form and the breakdown.
NPI and Tax ID Data Entry
You can now easily manage your office's NPI and Tax ID information directly within our platform. We've introduced editable fields that allow you to update this essential information at any time by accessing "Settings -> Account". Providing your NPI and Tax ID details is important for future integrations with third-party tools, ensuring seamless compatibility with upcoming features.
NPI in Insurance Verification
We've improved the provider selection dropdown to display both the provider's name and NPI number. This enhancement ensures each provider is uniquely identified, making the selection process clearer and more accurate. Additionally, all NPI numbers associated with the organization will now appear in the dropdown, providing a comprehensive list for selection.
Allowed Amounts Display
Our system now processes fee schedule information and displays allowed amounts per code when available from payers. This information can be found in the "Disclaimer" section under each code. This enhancement provides greater transparency and assists in accurate billing.
Data Writeback - Open Dental
In Open Dental, Zuub writes back adjustments for "Insurance Used" and "Deductible Used" when the PMS differs from the latest payer data Zuub obtains. The remaining maximum amount on Tx Plan is the same as in the patient note summary.
Data Writeback - Dentrix Enterprise
In Dentrix Enterprise, Zuub writes back to the fields listed below when the PMS differs from the latest payer data Zuub obtains. Remaining Benefits is the same on the Patient Note and Insurance Information screens.- Annual Individual Met Standard

Calendar Date Selector on Insurance Verification Schedule
The clickable date selector allows a user to quickly switch between different days or months. The calendar view is limited to a window of +/- 65 days from the current date, keeping the focus on relevant scheduling. The current date (today's date) is lightly highlighted to help the user quickly get back to the current day on the schedule.
Last Appointment Sync Timestamp on Insurance Verification Schedule
The Schedule displays the last synchronization timestamp with the office practice management system (PMS), providing users with visibility on when appointment data was last sync with Zuub.
Breakdown Waiting Period
The absence of waiting periods for applicable procedures is displayed on the IV breakdown when the patient's plan has no waiting periods.
