Spot Data Mismatches between PMS and Payer
Fix data mismatches between they cause issues. Accurate eligibility, benefits, and claims start with matching data.
Zuub syncs patient and subscriber names, dates of birth, member IDs, and group IDs from the PMS. When an insurance verification runs, Zuub compares the synced data to the data retrieved from the payer.

When a discrepancy is identified, Zuub's breakdown (dental portal full breakdown and PDF) flags it for your attention. You can then review and correct the PMS data. Once the correction is made, rerunning the insurance verification will compare the data again and clear any mismatches that have been resolved.
To aid in the review process (open the breakdown by clicking the Patient ID from the Schedule or open the PDF from the PMS’s document center), remember:
- When viewing an IV breakdown in Zuub's portal, click "edit" on the patient information bar to see the latest patient and subscriber data synced to Zuub.
- The insurance verification date is displayed on the top right of the breakdown in Zuub's portal and PDF.
Common examples include:
- Legal vs. preferred name (e.g., Johnathan vs. John)
- Misspelling (e.g., Catherine vs. Katherine)
- Last name suffixes (e.g., Smith Sr.)
- Dependent listed as the Subscriber
